![]() If we’d played this course first, we would have canceled our Pine Lakes tee time. NOT what we were looking for on our vacation. The conditions of the course and the ‘customers’ (doubt they even paid) made it feel like an absolute dive of a course. They held us and everyone behind us up with their messing around. We had a five-some randomly jump on at hole 10 and decide to do a scramble. It had rained the night before, but most of the mud had been around a while. Most holes were ‘cart path only’ because there was a lot of mud. So many holes in the grass everywhere - tee box, fairway, even a few on the greens. Fairly well maintained with nice signage for each hole. Golden Isles Carriage and Trail at Three Oaks Farm 4. A 'farm to table' restaurant, Table's creative dinner menu changes daily, depending on local produce. Lots of gators along the fairways to keep things interesting. Carts are nice with built in coolers and an iPad type of thing with course map, distances and electronic score card. Nice pro shop and big bathrooms in the clubhouse. We golfed here this past week on two separate days. Write your congressman to return Jekyll back to Geirgua. Letting a private company run this State owned facility was one of the biggest mistakes ever made in Geirgua. It is run by people who are more concerned with making a buck than serving the taxpayers who own the park. But this State Park is not actually run by the State. The horses were great on the beach, they were all relaxed and happy to do their job, which was nice, like I said we’ve seen other companies that were less professional, and the horses were less happy so we were really excited to see so many horses that looked so great and we’re so well cared for and so happy to be working. We noticed that some of the horses were a little bit itchy, and the gods took extra time to spray them down with bug spray before and after we rode, I thought that was very sweet. The other people that were in our group had very small children they were very scared, and the guides worked with them individually in a very sweet and kind way. All of the workers were very professional and kind, our guides names were Hannah and Harley, who, evidently ride professional barrel, racing and shared some photos of their horses with us, they were beautiful. When we arrived, the workers were there adjusting saddles and checking people in while the horses were finishing munching on their hay cubes…my group forgot to watch our safety video so they reminded us that we had to do that before we rode.!! Whoops! So we did that on our telephones while we were waiting, we watched them greet other people as well. ![]() My family have been to companies like this across the United States and in multiple countries, and we’ve never seen horses that were cared for as much as these horses are, they were big and fat, they were munching on hay, they had freshwater.
